Personality
Phoebe has a very Southern Bell charm about her that makes her likable to most. She's sweet and giggly, some might even say a bit ditsy, though her head isn't completely in the clouds. Phoebe loves love, and is a real matchmaker. She's got a good eye for spotting connections and pairing up personalities, and loves setting up her friends on blind dates. While her gift at matchmaking is stupendous to say the least, she isn't all that aware of any affections placed towards her. Phoebe isn't an oblivious person, but she sure is when it comes to somebody liking her or flirting with her. You could say this may be because she's wrapped up in other people's love lives, or that she doesn't care for love of her own, but she just doesn't see somebody liking her as an option. It's not that she's insecure, she just never thinks of someone liking her in that way, having always been focused on how other people felt towards other people. Being in other people's lives causes her to be very nosey though, even if she has good intentions. She can never keep her nose in her own business, and this has cost her a few friends in the past. All around she's a sweet girl though, just trying to help without knowing any boundaries. Phoebe's love of love doesn't stop at matchmaking either, and branches out to another skill of hers; writing. Yes, little miss matchmaker loves to write romance, and does it often. Usually short stories that never get published, though a few a full-on novels. Her only problem with getting them published is the fact that any potential publishers don't like how soft of a writer she is. Her books don't have any angst or drama in them. It's basically just pages full of fluff, and that gets old fast. Oh well though, she never wrote to be famous or make money, she just enjoys writing. She can't bring herself to write anything but happy endings, because that's all she wants to see. Whether in pages or in real life. Phoebe's second pastime, or rather a hobby, is her gardening. Phoebe grew up a flower child, surrounded by love and a soul embroidered with peace and happiness. Her parents were horticulturalists, and she took it up as a child since she loves how pretty the flowers were. She even liked the flowers that weren't so pretty like the carnivorous ones. She never understood why they couldn't just be vegetarian like her, but having grown up she's learned to forgive the plants for their cruel behavior since they can't help how they were made. You rarely ever see her without a flower in her hair, a flower crown, or some sort of floral pattern on her clothing. Phoebe's the modern hippy, all about peace, love, and happiness, because aren't those the best things in life?
